First Ever Ballet School to Operate in a Mall in Qatar that Complements Fun and Learning

Lagoona Mall celebrates first batch of ballerinas graduating from Al-Gheed Ballet Centre

Lagoona Mall, Qatar’s premium shopping destination, hosted Al-Gheed Ballet Centre evening of classical dance to celebrate its first year anniversary and the first batch of 25 aspiring students graduating from the training academy, showing their capabilities and skills to transfer to the next level of training.

The event, open to public, saw live performances from the graduating students from ages 5 to 13 in front of their friends and families, on a custom built stage located on the lower court area of the Lagoona Mall. The show included Ballet dancing for the young girls as well as taekwondo show for the boys and youth. All graduates received their certificates and gifts. Visitors and shoppers also had the chance to watch this amazing show. To further add to the festivities, Al-Gheed Centre offered new members who registered on this day 15% percent discount on the total fees.

Launched in June 2013 inside the Lagoona Mall, Al-Gheed Ballet Centre is regarded as a leading centre for classical ballet training in Qatar that provides a harmonious environment to learn and perfect your steps making the practice fun and enjoyable. Al-Gheed Centre also provides other activities such as aerobicsand taekwondo, etc., for children between the age of 5 and 13, in addition to some other training courses for adult learners. Members of Al-Gheed Centre receive certificates on completion of required levels, and the students can choose the activity that suits them the most.
