Umniah launches MobileApp for customer account management

As part of its commitment to keep pace with the recent developments in the telecommunications sector and to offer its customers the best mobile and internet services, Umniah has developed a new mobile application allowing its subscribers to personally manage their accounts and stay connected with Umniah products and services offering.

The application has tremendous benefits for smartphone and tablet users that allows prepaid and postpaid subscribers as well as 3G ”evo” subscribers and UMAX and ADSL customers to manage their accounts from their devices. The app is introduced at a time of significant growth in the local market where local smartphone usage is witnessed to exceed 60 percent.

Its introduction to this service is in response to the growing number of customers switching to smartphones and tablets powered by iOS and android operating systems. Offered in both English and Arabic, subscribers can log into the application through their Umniah website account(My Umniah) or create a new account by clicking on the register button and start adding their Umniah accounts.

Umniah later emphasized that the application gives way to a wide range of functionalities including services and internet data bundles subscription and un-subscription options, prepaid account balance inquiries, postpaid account outstanding balance with the ability to view the past three-months electronic bills, “evo” account recharges with prepaid scratch cards, internet usage and balance inquiries, all through the self-service page in the application.

The new service also keeps users up-to-date with the latest offers and promotions provided by Umniah including phone services, customer care on roaming and international calling services, Umniah service center locations and submitting a support ticket to Umniah’s customer service center.

Hinnawi went on to add, “Smartphones and tablets have become increasingly popular in the recent years; therefore, we have tweaked our services to meet the growing needs for interactivity through the new featured channel of customer services.”
