Accor Hotel services Middle East has signed a management agreement with Indian real estate developer Hiranandani Group for a 350-room Ibis Styles hotel in Dubai’s Business Bay, Hotelier Middle East has reported. Located alongside Business Bay Canal, the property is currently being designed and construction is expected to be completed by mid-2016. Accor is looking to attract the leisure segment from Downtown Dubai and the corporate segment from the Business Bay area. “Dubai’s Tourism 2020 aims to bring in 20 million visitors every year, and we are well-placed as regional leader in the midscale and economy segments to capitalize on the increasing demand this will create,” said Accor Hotelservices Middle East COO Christophe Landais.
