Transportation Minister and Bahrain Economic Development Board acting chief executive Kamal Ahmed has signed a tenancy agreement with Logistics Village managing director Abdul Ghaffar Al Kooheji. Logistics Village and Bahrain Logistics Zone (BLZ), part of the Transportation Ministry’s Ports and Maritime Affairs will jointly set up an economical and efficient warehousing solution to store, handle and distribute different products and materials, and provide the warehousing facilities to companies looking to lease prebuilt warehouses, Gulf Daily News reported. The layout, concept and feasibility study have been completed. “The BLZ has a truly unique offering that includes competitive rates, world-class services for commercial, import/export and re-export activities, efficient turnaround times and close proximity to the state-of-the-art Khalifa Bin Salman Port, all of which help make it into an ideal destination for companies looking to establish a strong foothold in the GCC,” said Mr Ahmed.
