: Sunday, July 06 - 2014 @ 04:46

Seyed Massoud Nasr Azadani, deputy director of Iran’s Construction and Development of Infrastructures Transportation Co (CDITC) has said Iranian officials are in talks with their Chinese counterparts to finalise a deal on financing railway development projects in the Islamic Republic, Fars news has reported. This follows the signing in June of a contract with Chinese officials to electrify the railway linking the capital city of Tehran to the holy city of Mashhad in Northeastern Iran. The project is due to be implemented by an Iranian-Chinese consortium, including the Iranian companies of MAPNA, MAPNA Ehdas and MAPNA International and the Chinese CMC and SU Power firms.
