Completion of Gorgan-Inche Boroun railway needs $23bn

$23bn needed to complete Gorgan-Inche Boroun railway project, which officially opened by former president Mahmoud Ahmadijejad, deputy governor of Golestan province for planning said, IRNA reported. Ali Margdari who was speaking in the opening ceremony of 33 civil development projects in the province said that the 85 kilometer railway project was inaugurated in May, 2013 in the presence of the former president. The strategic 85 kilometer Inche Boroun-Gorgan railway, which connects the railway networks of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Iran along a 960 kilometer path was constructed based on an agreement reached among the three countries presidents of the time.
