Eastern Mangroves Suites, By Jannah Hotels & Resorts, have stood beside the rest of the world to mark the Earth Hour by switching-off all lights on Saturday evening between 8:30 to 9:30.
Houssine El Quarori, Eastern Mangroves Operations Manager, has encouraged all guests and visitors to participate within this unique event by simply asking them to turn-off all lights and unnecessary electricity and use a their complementary candles during the Earth Hour.
“Eastern Mangroves Suites is committed to the environment all year long, many actions are in place to save electricity, water and minimize the use of non-biodegradable items. For example, corridor lights in our hotel are switched-off every day from sunrise to sunset and all the bathroom amenities are organic,” El-Quarori said.
El-Quarori was pleased with the guests participation during the Earth Hour saying that the move was the least they should do to protect mother earth.
“The Earth’s comfort is ours, we all must stand together for the Earth Hour. We at Eastern Mangroves will always be part of any green unique activities which represents the group’s keenness on adapting to any sort of methods aimed at protecting the environment and the earth in general,” he said.
