Abu Dhabi-based Ghantoot Transport and General Contracting Establishment (GTGC) announced the submission of the lowest bids for part 1 and 2 of the Adam-Thumrait road dualisation project. As many as nine local and international firms have submitted bids for the first two sections of the 715km-long project. The tenders were opened last week, Muscat Daily reported. Around 22 ‘excellent grade’ companies had evinced interest when the tenders were first floated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications in October last year.
