Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) Chairman Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi launched Monday the second stage of ATDD web portal on the first day of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai.
ATDD leads Ajman delegation to ATM, including representatives for Ajman Chamber, Ajman Saray, Kempinski Ajman Hotel, the Ajman Palace, Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman, Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman, Tulip Inn Royal Suites Ajman, Al Zorah Resorts, Ajman Stud and Al Foah.
The second stage of ATDD web portal includes smart phone applications as part of a comprehensive project to provide ATDD e-services for all stakeholders.
Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Humaid issued directives for the ATDD team to complete the web portal project in line with the Ajman tourism strategic plan serving the targets of Ajman Vision 2021. He also affirmed the importance of opting for world standards and best practices while providing e-services.
For his part, Mohamed Al Beloushi, the head of ATDD’s e-systems team, said the second web portal stage includes an application offering the department’s e-services on Android and Apple both for the mobile phone and tablet platforms.
By the end of the second quarter of 2014, ATDD will provide a number of e-services related to licensing operations of tourism establishments, Beloushi added. As part of ATDD development plans, the last stage of the web portal project will cover 24-hour services through smart phones, he concluded.
