Three Rotana group hotels and Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) partnered to raise awareness about the high levels of electricity and water consumption. The ‘Peak Load Campaign’ aims to educate guests and colleagues on the importance of avoiding the use of electrical appliances and devices during the peak load hours, between 12—5 pm, as Dewa has to increase its power generation capacity during these hours, a statement said. As part of the initiative, Villa Rotana, Rimal Rotana and Rihab Rotana will distribute promotional sticky notes to the guests at the time of check in by attaching it on the card keys folder, Trade Arabia reported. The campaign is extended to internal colleagues as well by distributing the same and showcased in colleague’s cafeteria, locker rooms and accommodation.
