The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols at the Abu Dhabi Police is set to launch new community-based initiatives during the 30th edition of the GCC Traffic Week in Abu Dhabi, Khaleej Times has reported. The traffic education campaigns will target school and university students, as well as govt and private entities. “The traffic awareness strategy launched by the directorate for the years 2011 to 2013 has contributed to raise traffic awareness, resulting in a decrease in traffic-related deaths,” said Director of Traffic, Brig.
