Logistics firm, DHL has announced it is expanding its footprint in the UAE with the addition of more retail outlets in major and remote locations across the country, Gulf News has reported. At least six retail outlets, where customers can drop off or collect shipment, will be opened in different areas by the end of the year, Frank-Uwe Ungerer, country manager for DHL Express UAE, told the daily. “We’re almost in every shopping mall, but there are still areas that need our service. Very soon, we will finally have one outlet on Sheikh Zayed road,” Ungerer said. “We’re also looking to reach out to remote locations in the UAE. We want to expand geographically and open outlets in far-flung areas. This will help us offer a better service to our customers,” he said.
