Saudia Cargo to spend $476m on facilities expansion

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has said it plans to spend $476.7m over the next five to seven years to expand cargo ground handling facilities, Gulf News has reported. “This is a complete investment in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam including the proposed cargo village which is going to be based in the headquarters at the King Abdulaziz [International] Airport in Jeddah,” said Saudi Airlines Cargo’s director sales for the Middle East, North Africa & Turkey, Amer Abu Obeid.
