Knauf Insulation showcases HVAC and building insulation with patented ECOSE technology at Project Qatar
Knauf Exeed Insulation, a joint venture with Knauf Insulation, and Exeed Industries is participating in Project Qatar, the 11th edition of the highly successful show for the construction and building materials industry.
The key products on display at Knauf Insulation stand no: G173 include HVAC Insulation and Building Insulation made with patented ECOSE technology. Knauf Insulation glasswool made with ECOSE Technology offers superior handling and has a softer feel, it is odourless, easy to cut and offers superior level of sustainability.
The natural brown color of the glasswool represents a level of sustainability and handling never achieved before. Manufactured from naturally occurring and/or recycled raw materials, and bonded using a bio-based binder free from phenols formaldehyde, acrylics and with no artificial colors, bleach or dyes added. It contributes to improved indoor air quality compared to our conventional mineral wool and reduces impact on environment through lower embodied energy.
Daniele Cerutti, General Manager, Knauf Exeed Insulation, said: “Qatar is an important market for us and we choose to participate in Project Qatar as it provides an important opportunity for us to showcase our patented technologies to key buyers and industry leaders. Our new generation of glass mineral wool with ECOSE Technology, which is formaldehyde free, is revolutionizing the manufacture of building materials with resin based binders. It reduces pollutant manufacturing emissions and workplace exposures, improves the overall sustainability of buildings in which they are incorporated and is cost competitive with our traditional mineral wool, at the same time delivering all the benefits.”
Knauf Exeed Insulation recently completed insulation projects for Doha Sheraton Hotel and Logistics Village.
