Oman seeking bids for $250m cultural complex construction contract

Oman’s heritage and culture ministry has invited bids for the construction of the $250m (OR96.26m) Oman Cultural Complex (OCC), Muscat Daily has reported. The move follows the appointment of UK-based international consultancy and construction company, Mace, as project manager for the iconic complex. The complex, which will have three major buildings of national interest, has already expressed interest from four big construction companies including Carillion Alawi, Services & Trade Co, Consolidated Contractors Co and Al Turky Enterprises. The document distribution will continue until August 28, while the last date for submission is October 29.
