Dubai’s top developers launch first projects in 2016
Two of the emirates’ largest developers, Emaar Properties and Damac Properties, are kick-starting the year by announcing new hospitality and residential developments.
Emaar Properties is launching a new residential development, located in the Island District of Dubai Creek Harbour.
The project, Harbour Views, comprises two towers with a three-level podium, and is currently the tallest residential development in Island District.
It spans over six square kilometres, overlooking the Dubai Creek, Ras Al Khor natural bird sanctuary and views of Downtown’s skyline, highlighted by Burj Khalifa, which can be especially viewed from The Terrace at Dubai Creek Harbour.
The 51-storey towers have more than 750 units, ranging between one, two and three-bedroom luxurious apartments and opulent duplex penthouses.
In addition to the towers, the development features 14 two-storey villas that have a detached entrance and podium apartments.
Unit sales begin in Dubai, New Delhi and Karachi on Saturday, and in Mumbai on Sunday, with prices starti from AED 956,888.
Right across the city, Damac Properties has launched Navitas Hotel & Residences, part of its Akoya Oxygen golf course community.
The project comprises five towers, 14 stories each, and is valued at AED 850 million.
One tower is a 312 hotel rooms that will be managed by DAMAC Hotels & Resorts, while the remaining four comprise residential units.
The five-tower development is valued at AED 850 million, and unit prices begin at 440,000.
