The Abu Dhabi market index ADXGI gained 1.11 per cent to hit 4,982.62 points on Wednesday, July 16. Sixteen shares advanced, while 13 declined in value.
Aldar Properties edged up by 0.50 per cent, finishing at AED3.82. Earlier in the day, the first developer in the UAE capital said it entered a new partnership agreement with Retail Arabia, a leading regional retail franchise owner, for Yas Mall. “The partnership includes a new concept House of Fraser department store spanning 110,000 square feet, the first Hamleys, the oldest and largest toy shop in the world, in Abu Dhabi, as well as the first Joe Fresh international fashion brand in the UAE,” state news agency WAM reported.
