Blue chips only day at Bahrain bourse

The Bahrain All-Share Index in Manma gained 0.36 per cent to reach 1,471.70 points on Thursday, July 31, marking the first trading day after Eid holidays.

National Bank of Bahrain or NBB advanced the most (up 5.95 per cent), while Bahrain Telecom or Batelco recorded the biggest drop (3.21 per cent).

Islamic bank Ithmaar closed unchanged.
