The Dubai financial market equity index DFMGI plummeted 2.40 per cent to hit 4,726.57 points on Wednesday, August 6. Emaar Properties failed to sustain its two-month high above AED10, ending off 3.90 per cent at AED9.60.
Arab Insurance or ARIG gained the most, finishing 10 per cent higher at AED3.30.
Three shares advanced, while 26 declined in value.
