Oman’s exports, re-exports reach OR3bn in 2013

Oman’s commerce and industry ministry has said the total value of products exported and re-exported from the sultanate to other GCC countries rose to about OR3bn in 2013, Times of Oman has reported. Omani products accounted for around OR1.5bn of this amount, minister Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy said on the sidelines of the 14th GCC Industrialists’ Conference. In 2012, OR1bn worth of Omani products was exported to other GCC countries and the total amount of exported and re-exported goods from the sultanate to the GCC stood at OR2bn in the same year, said the minister.
