Oman’s non-oil exports jump 8.4% in August 2013

According to figures by Oman’s National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), the country’s non-oil exports grew 8.4%, while imports recorded a growth of 22.8% at the end of August 2013, Oman Daily Observer has reported. The total value of exports by the sultanate reached a total of OR2.33bn, compared with OR2.151bn during the same month a year earlier, while the total value of imports stood at OR8.635bn, against OR7.032bn during the same period in 2012.
