Saudi Arabia to provide further aid to Egypt

Egypt has said it is set to receive soon $3bn in aid from Saudi Arabia, mostly in the form of petroleum products, to help stabilise the country’s economy, Arab News has reported. Egypt has already received $2bn from the kingdom, said Sami Khallaf, adviser to the Egyptian minister of finance. Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries have provided aid to boost Egypt’s growth and restore investor confidence.
