Saudi bourse ends flat

The Tadawul All Share Index closed even at 8,655.38 points on Tuesday, January 28. SABIC was the most liquid share, which fell by 1.11 per cent to SAR111.75. Samba Financial Group gained 0.49 per cent to SR51.25. Earlier in the day, Samba said its board of directors has recommended to the extraordinary general assembly meeting to increase the company’s capital through bonus shares. The company’s current capital is SAR9 billion, and the company’s capital after the suggested 33.33 per cent increase shall be SAR12bn. The number of shares before increasing is 900 million; the number after increasing will be 1.2 billion. Samba will be offering one bonus share for one owned.
