Over the past few decades, Strategy Execution has strengthened as an emerging discipline. Different thought leaders and practitioners have composed a large amount of information and knowledge in this field. Although much of the information has been generated from USA or European cases, few Strategy Execution case studies exist about public and private organizations in the Middle East, although this region has achieved impressive results in this area over the past few year, particularly the GCC.
In this regard, ShiftIN Partners has joined forces with one of the top 20 Business Schools in the world, SP Jain, and strategy ambassador Jereon De Flander to rollout the first research of organizations’ strategic capabilities in this region, ‘The State of Strategy Execution in the Middle East’. The survey will be conducted during the first quarter of 2014, and will help to understand the particular challenges public and private organizations face in the Middle East. Secondly, the study would like to create a unified system and platform to compare those challenges against best-in-class organizations worldwide from different regions. From this valuable information, the analyses will contribute to the generation of thought leadership and premium knowledge dissemination in the field of strategy execution.
Amancio Torres, CEO of ShiftIN Partners mentioned, “since our inception we have been committed to the development of regional thought leadership around Strategy. As such, we are pleased to have joined forced with a prestigious Business School, SP Jain, and with the thought leader Jeroen De Flander, on this research. Upon completion we believe we’ll be contributing to generating knowledge on how public and private organizations make strategy happen in the Middle East.”
Jeroen De Flander added, “As a strategy execution ambassador, I’ve been visiting the Middle East several times a year since 2009. I’ve seen fantastic progress and I’m happy that very soon every organization will have regional strategy execution benchmark data available to do even better.”
