Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is pleased to announce its participation as a co-sponsor in the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum (ADIF) on 21st May 2014 in London. The highly regarded forum is organized by the Institutional Investor in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development. ADCB’s Chief Executive Officer, Ala’a Eraiqat, will be attending the forum along with a number of Executive Management members.
The ADIF brings together a global audience of heads of industry and business, money managers, institutional investors and policy makers to hear about the wealth of investment opportunities Abu Dhabi has to offer to international companies. Participants have the opportunity to meet and hear from Abu Dhabi’s key industry leaders, financial intermediaries and high-profile government officials.
Ala’a Eraiqat, Chief Executive Officer of ADCB, commented: “Our sponsorship of the ADIF reflects our commitment to building further on the success of Abu Dhabi, highlighting the Emirates growth and increasing its appeal to top level policy makers from across the globe. The Forum provides an opportunity for all Abu Dhabi companies to showcase the extensive trade and investment opportunities the Emirate has to offer investors from Asia, Europe and the US, as well as those domestically, highlighting how both Abu Dhabi and the region can maintain growth over the coming years.
“The banking sector has played a key role in bolstering the economic development of the UAE. Banks have worked hard, and continue to work hard to help increase the investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi that are available to the global investment community. At ADCB, we feel that it is fundamental for us to be able to demonstrate this on an international level.” Eraiqat concluded.
