As part of its ongoing strategy and vision to increase its footprint within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, AXA Cooperative today announced the grand opening of its new shop at the Granada Mall in the centre of Riyadh.
As one of the most prominent landmarks in the Kingdom, opening a shop in Granada Mall clearly signifies AXA’s intent to position their brand closer to their customers. The new shop is conveniently located next to Carrefour, and will cater to retail insurance needs. Open seven days a week, AXA’s new shop will welcome customers from 9.30am to 10pm, Saturday to Thursday and from 4pm to 10pm on Fridays.
Paul Adamson, Managing Director of AXA Cooperative Insurance said: “As part of our commitment to the Kingdom, AXA Cooperative continues to invest in various communities around the country for our customers. The opening of this new shop in Granada Mall beside the prestigious Carrefour brand is a testimony of that. As we continue to grow, we look towards leveraging the expertise of Saudi nationals in our recruitment strategy. As risk awareness increases, so too will insurance penetration levels. Our shops will bring to the forefront AXA’s retail offerings of motor, home and travel insurance at places most convenient to our customers.”
Gary Lewin, CEO of AXA Cooperative Insurance, added: “In line with AXA’s values, the opening of our new shop in Granada Mall will make us more attentive, available and reliable. By implementing this multi-access strategy, we ensure our values are met and a seamless customer experience is achieved throughout the Kingdom.”
AXA Cooperatives new shop at Granada Mall is the third in Riyadh. In late 2013 AXA opened two shops in Riyadh, the first at Al Thalia Street and the second at Panda Mall. The Kingdom now has a total of seven shops, in addition to the three in Riyadh; there are two in Jeddah, located in Auto Mall and Red Sea Mall and two in the Khobar/Dammam area in Shatea Mall and Mall of Dhahran.
As a leading global insurer, AXA Cooperative, supported by AXA Group, will continue to invest in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, increasing not only it’s footprint, but also enhancing customer service levels across the GCC region.
