Bank Sohar recently organized a VIP customer gathering at the Heritage Village in Wilayat of Bahla during which it conducted the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme RO50,000 Monthly Prize Draw.
The event was presided over by Mr. Hilal Said Hamed Al Yahyai, the Vice President of the Municipal Council of Al Dakhliya Province. Representing the Bank at the event were Mr. Salim Khamis Al Maskari, Senior AGM – Branches, Mr. Redha Al Lawatia, Head of Retail Liabilities, and Mr. Hamed Al Hinai, Bahla Branch Head, together with other senior members of the Bank who welcomed the chief guest and VIP customers.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr. R Narasimhan, said, “Customer satisfaction, financial planning and instilling the habit of saving were considered as core objectives while developing the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme for the current year. Through the scheme, we are able to continuously reward those who save with us. Furthermore, the scheme encourages us to plan such gatherings in order to conduct the draws as well as meet with our customers and get their valuable feedback strengthening our relationships.”
The event was inaugurated with a welcome speech by Mr. Hamed Al Hinai, Bahla Branch Head. This was followed with an overview of the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme by Mr. Redha Al Lawatia, Head of Retail Liabilities presenting details of the upcoming Half-yearly Draw totaling over a quarter of a million rials. To be held early next month, the Half-yearly Draw will see two lucky customers winning OR100,000 each and one lucky minor receiving OMR 5,000. In addition, the Bank will also conduct an Exclusive Draw of OR50,000 specifically for customers who maintain a minimum monthly average balance of OR10,000.
The Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme RO50,000 Monthly Draw saw the Bank’s Barka Branch customer, K. S. Z. Al Subhi win the monthly grand prize of OR45,000; while five lucky minors, Maareb Al Zadjali, Khalid Waleed, Mohammed Ibrahim, Hiba Ali and Tasneem Yahya, won OR1,000 each. The event concluded with a gala dinner, which provided a great platform for the senior management and staff to interact directly with customers and receive feedback on products and services provided by the Bank.
