Dun & Bradstreet South Asia & Middle East (DBSAME) announced its participation in the 9th Annual Middle East Retail Banking Forum, as the Lead Analytics Partner. The conference is scheduled between April 7-9, 2014 at The Address Dubai Marina, Dubai.
Since inception, the forum has earned the reputation as the foremost retail banking event of the Middle East. It serves as a platform for industry veterans to discuss trends, innovation, technology, customer engagement strategies and their vision of the future of retail banking. The previous edition of the conference saw over 170 delegates representing about 23 countries.
Commenting on the forum, Vivek Agarwal, Senior Vice President and Head of Banking Solutions, said, “We are happy to continue our association with the Middle East Retail Banking Forum. It is a wonderful platform that brings some of the brightest retail bankers together to share new ideas, discuss current challenges and learn from each other’s success. In the last decade, investments made in digitalization and transaction automation have enabled the local banking industry to evolve significantly in its ability to capture raw customer behavior data.”
He added, “The industry is now ready to exploit this data through analytics to improve its business performance and bridge the gap with established global players. Key areas where analytics can make a significant impact include efficient capital deployment, improvement in speed & accuracy of credit decisions, offer differentiated products based on customer needs & risk profiles as well as reduction in operational costs through enhanced automation in customer decisions.”
Vivek Agarwal is scheduled to speak at the event, sharing his experiences in implementing analytics solutions for Middle East Banks.
