The ISACA Muscat chapter recently organised a technical training session on “IT – Governance, Risk and Compliance” followed by a felicitation function for the exam passers of CISA, CISM, GGEIT and CRISC. Held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Muscat, the event was attended by H.E. Dr. Fuad Ja’afar Al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries as the chief guest, as well as more than 125 ISACA members and honourable guests. Representing Bank Sohar at the event were Mr. Pradeep Balachandra, Chief Manager of Large Corporate Banking, and Mr. Selvam GP, Chief Manager of Internal Audit.
During the ISACA training, sponsored by Bank Sohar, three eminent speakers addressed the audience, starting with Security and Risk Expert Mr. Maitham Al Lawati, followed by Mr. Vittal Raj – Vice president of ISACA International, and Mr. Malek Bechlaghem – EY Senior Advisory Director/ IT Risk and Assurance.
