Kuwait Finance House (KFH) took part in the graduation ceremony of the students of College of Engineering and Petroleum in Kuwait University. This step is part of KFH’s efforts to support students and the college, since this is part of KFH’s social responsibility in the fields of education, health, sports, and environment.
The College of Engineering and Petroleum Dean Dr. Hussein Al-Khayyat applauded KFH on the sideline of the event that was attended by Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youths Affairs Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, and other prominent figures. He added that KFH’s participation in the event symbolizes the role of the private sector in shouldering its social responsibilities towards the society, not to mention underscoring KFH’s leading role in such events that involve distinguished students. It is worth noting that KFH honoured the first five top students during the event, which motivates them to exert more academic efforts in their field of study.
Moreover, Al-Khayyat mentioned that KFH is aware of the importance of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, since its graduates work in the most vital economic sector in Kuwait; especially that this college includes various branches of engineering that can boost development in all fields. He went on to say that KFH is keen to encourage innovation and creativity through motivating students. He explained that the oil sector is the stem of economic development, which will allow Kuwait to be up to par with advanced nations.
