The Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Leadership Program, a first-of-its-kind program that aims to empower talented young individuals with essential leadership qualities, received an invitation to officially join the Knowledge and Policies Council of Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government.
Speaking on the occasion, Faisal Al Nuaimi, Head of the committee at ALP said: “We are honored to join the Knowledge and Policies Council of Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government which includes a selected group of leadership programs in the UAE. This membership is highly important to us and a clear evidence of the high quality of the program and its ability, within a short span of time, to reach leading position in the UAE and region, by meeting the expectations and requirements of federal government”.
The ‘Knowledge and Policies Council’ aims to promote meaningful dialogue, highlight issues and public policies that are of relevance to both the community and government, and enrich knowledge amongst various government entities. The council will provide insights and recommendations on areas that impact the cooperation and development of government performance, while enhancing personal and institutional communication to facilitate intra-government relations.
Al Nuaimi went on to emphasize that joining the Knowledge and Policies Council of Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government constitutes a major milestone for the Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Leadership Program and clear evidence of the program’s leading position, superior quality, and intelligent design. The membership of Knowledge and Policies Council will help spur further development in the program to reach higher international levels.
Al Nuaimi added: “Our membership in the Knowledge and Policies Council will enable us propose suggestions that make a quantum leap in leadership programs in the country. These recommendations will focus on the creation of a system to measure the quality of inputs and outputs of young leadership programs in the UAE, while taking into consideration the uniqueness of its program in developing its main topics and objectives. The proposed system will offer a benchmark to evaluate leadership programs in the country and to accredit the ones that meet the requirements. Through the council, we will seek to build a federal database for graduates of leadership programs to facilitate the selection of the best candidates to fill senior positions in public and private sectors. This move will help maintain the positive returns of graduates and spread knowledge by passing the experiences among members of community”.
