Ajman University students were enthralled by the leading female entrepreneurs who held a panel discussion at the 14th Silicon Oasis TechForum, a networking platform for technology professionals, experts, academics and students alike.
Students from the Colleges of Business Administration, Information Technology & Engineering were amongst the keen participants who enjoyed the panels’ discussions. Three female entrepreneurs; representing tech business leaders, shared their entrepreneurial journey and outlined the challenges faced by them and the viable solutions they abided by.
TechForum panelists were Loulou Khazen Baz, Ambareen Musa and May Habib.
Mrs. Khazen Baz is founder & CEO of the Middle East’s first virtual marketplace, Nabbesh. In 2012, she was crowned the winner of the reality TV show, The Entrepreneur. CEO Ambareen Musa, a Mauritian businesswoman, is the founder of “Souqalmal” a localized version of the UK-based Money Supermarket. May Habib, is the founder of the Dubai-based “Qordoba”, a language service and digital content company, which works with 650 linguists in over 30 countries. The event was moderated by Rania Hadi, Outreach Manager at Google MENA.
