The British University in Dubai (BUiD) is now a Learning Affiliate of the Energy Institute (EI), which is a major professional body for the energy industry. The Energy Institute is the leading Chartered professional body with over 19,000 individuals working in or studying energy and 250 corporate members worldwide. As an EI Learning Affiliate, BUiD can provide students with a free membership to benefit from learning and networking opportunities, as well as professional recognition and technical and scientific knowledge resources on energy in all its forms and applications. There will also be specialized career talks delivered by EI’s expert from the region.

With this affiliation, BUiD will be able to expand its energy conservation and management related training programmes to both public and private sector entities; BUiD is already providing Certified Energy Management (CEM) training in collaboration with the EGBC.”
