His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan honoured du and the British University in Dubai (BUiD) as the recipients of the National Research Foundation (NRF) grant in 2013 for a joint research paper. Inken Lasar, Director – Corporate Program Management, du, accepted the grant on behalf of BUiD and du during the official award ceremony held on 5 June 2014.
The topic of the joint research paper is ‘Understanding the influence of dynamic capabilities, knowledge management and learning processes on the contribution of project management to organisational performance,’ written by Dr. Paul Gardiner from BUiD.
Ananda Bose, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, du, said: “It is an honour to be recognised by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan for our research activities in conjunction with BUiD. Since 2013, we have worked closely with BUiD to increase the efficiency of project management practices, both in du and in the wider project management community.
