Mohammad Al Hajeri, Head of the Kuwaiti Cultural Office in the UK, has urged Kuwaiti students who have been accepted by UK universities to present the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) degree ahead of applying for an educational visa, Gulf News has reported. Universities in the UK require marks ranging between six and six and a half in all specialities and seven for medicine, he said. “As for students who have not made it in the IELTS tests at home, the office will help in registering them at the top institutes in Britain to try to sit for the exam again,” he said.
