Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Hosni, Vice Chairman and President of QBG, said, “We are committed to nurturing local talent and investing in the future of Oman by creating rewarding employment opportunities and helping the next generation of talented Omanis take their first steps towards a successful career. Our knowledge-sharing approach to business focuses on building the capacity of the local workforce by offering openings within local, regional and international industries. Interns at QBG will be mentored by seasoned industry experts in a wide range of sectors to add an extra dynamic to their education and provide meaningful experience and references to assist in future career development.”
QBG employs more than 4,000 professionals across the Group’s varied interests that include construction, engineering, landscaping, facilities management, and financial services, as well as joint ventures with leading companies from Oman and around the world. The internship program will form a vital component of QBG’s community engagement and further enhances the Group’s reputation as an employer of choice and its capacity to contribute to the Sultanate’s ongoing evolution.
The partnership with SQU offers students a unique insight into the workings of the organization’s diverse portfolio. The best candidates will be considered for full time employment opportunities after graduation, offering a chance to join one of the region’s leading business houses.
