The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated authority for heritage, culture and the arts, has launched Hayatuk, a path-breaking initiative aimed at strengthening the personal and career skills of its employees and enhancing employee satisfaction.
Dubai Culture will collaborate with leading development and training centres as well as other government entities in the UAE, to conduct special courses for employees covering a variety of topics including career skills development, managing stress at work and achieving work-life balance, among others. The initiative is led by the Human Resources Department at Dubai Culture.
Mr. Khalid Al Doobi, Director of Human Resources at Dubai Culture, said, “The initiative underlines its commitment to promote organizational excellence by strengthening its human resources.” “This is in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, at The Government Summit,” he added.
His Highness had emphasized, “Government employees are the growth engines of Dubai’s growth, fueling the Emirate’s development. We are fulfilling his vision to further promote the skillsets of our employees while promoting a greater work-life balance for personal and professional growth.”
As part of Hayatuk, Dubai Culture will join hands with specialised healthcare entities in the UAE to provide all-round wellness programmes for its employees. Additionally, healthcare awareness programmes, particularly on healthy lifestyles and nutrition, will be held. Dubai Culture will also work with fitness centres and sports clubs to explore partnerships that add value to the employees.
Dubai Culture has launched several pioneering projects and initiatives that empower its employees, and encourage their creativity and innovation to complement the development of Dubai.
