As part of its community involvement and continued effort to spread health awareness and education, Bahrain Royal hospital (BRH) – a 60-Bed, multi-specialty based health center based in Salmaniya, Bahrain – has conducted recently a lecture aimed at an audience of mothers in Bahrain – “Mommy Make Over”.
The lecture came also in celebrating the international women day, and focused on cosmetic and gynecologic issues faced by expecting and new mothers during and after their pregnancy.
The lecture was given by two of the RBH physicians, namely Dr. Dean Gomes, Plastic Surgeon, and Dr. Kiran Bijlani, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, who have educated the attendees on dealing with the physical changes that a woman’s body goes through during and post-pregnancy.
The lecture also outlined some of the medical procedures and treatments available to reverse the physical changes experienced.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Ahmed Jawahery, President of Bahrain Royal Hospital, has emphasized on the major role of the hospital to spread the health awareness and education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He pointed out that, there is a great number of women who are suffering from such body changes during and after delivery, adding that this lecture comes along with “Our community involvement and continued effort to serve our society”.
