Bellevue Medical Center (BMC) predicated by values and ambitions to lead in quality and safety, has been named winner of the ‘Top Hospital in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety’ award at the ‘MedHealth 2014′ MENA congress. It was announced on the 12th of March at the Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel in Cairo, Egypt, during the opening ceremony of “MedHealth 2014″, the annual forum of the Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF), a leader on the Arab Health Map which gathers decision makers in healthcare sectors, managers, directors, and professionals from hospitals, polyclinics, and medical centers.
The event was attended by a number of prominent figures including the Arab Ministers of Health, VIPs and C-level executives from the Arab public and private hospitals, healthcare professionals and well-known health organizations.

BMC was among twenty hospitals from the Middle East who applied for the ‘Quality Improvement and Patient Safety’ award. They have received the Joint Commission Accreditation (JCI) in 2012, and since, are implementing continuous quality improvement strategies, based on effectiveness, efficiency, accessibility, equitability, and safety. “We are proud to achieve and continue on this path to attain our ambitious goals and position ourselves as providers and employers for those seeking excellence with highest levels of safety and professionalism” added Dr. Hassan.
