The International Management Conference of Al Noor Hospital will kick-off on Thursday the 22nd of May. The conference is held under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development. About 250 participants comprising of doctors and specialists in the field of healthcare information technology are expected to attend the Conference.
The 1st International Management Conference of Al Noor Hospital, which will be held at the Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa in Abu Dhabi, goes in line with the growing interest to further develop and enhance the management practices followed by healthcare providers and the heavy focus on information technology and its usage in healthcare management.
Dr. Kassem Alom, Chief Executive Officer of Al Noor Hospitals Group and the Conference President highlighted that the majority of healthcare providers pay special attention to the development of healthcare-related data and its key function in supporting and promoting even more advanced medical services.
Dr. Alom also added that the majority of healthcare providers across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi have adopted and applied the latest technologies and tools to manage patient data.
Furthermore, Dr. Alom mentioned that the advancement of healthcare information technology has opened the door to more efficient handling of patient data, and the process of referrals, medical tests, treatments and transferring data from one country to another to be much more convenient. Today, the introduction of tele-surgery technology has opened a window of opportunity for doctors to perform surgery without physically being at the same location, thus taking the entire process of handling various medical cases to a whole new level.
