Jeddah health facilities fined for flouting regulations

The Saudi health ministry has imposed a SR195,000 fine on four health facilities and one physician in Jeddah for health violations, Arab News has reported. “We treat the private sector as a strategic partner in providing health services. We want them to offer quality services with a patients-first approach in their ventures,” a ministry official said. Last year, the ministry closed down 30 medical complexes, 15 polyclinics, 29 pharmacies, 27 optical houses and five physiotherapy centres for violating government rule
