KSA awards $982m in medicines, services deals

The Saudi health ministry has signed 26 contracts, worth a total of SR3.68bn ($981.2bn) for medicines and supply services for its various health departments, which included SR3.5bn for the supply of vaccines, Arab News has reported. “We are keen on improving our health services according to the national integrated, comprehensive healthcare project chalked out by the ministry,” said health minister, Dr Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, adding that the ministry has also signed contracts for the supply of industrial gas and catering of prepared meals to the hospital patients.
