The general policies committee at Kuwait’s Supreme Council for Planning and Development has recommended the cancelation of health insurance for expatriates, saying it ‘widens the gap between expatriate and national manpower’ and causes pressure on public health services, Kuwait Times has reported. The reason for this is to “show the real cost of expatriate manpower, and reduce the gap between it and the national manpower,” report said.
