Oman’s health ministry has withdrawn Dosevital Vital Honey and Royal Coffee from the local market and warned consumers across the sultanate against the use of the two products, Muscat Daily has reported. The ministry’s Directorate General of Pharmacy and Drug Control said that lab tests have shown that Dosevital Vital Honey contains tadalafil, a prescription drug, which should be used only under a doctor’s supervision. The directorate also said it received a warning issued by the Saudi Food & Drug Authority on Royal Coffee from the makers of El Dong Slimming Tea, stating that the product is adulterated and also contains tadalafil.
