Medical and technological innovation is progressing at a continuous pace. The Ministry of Health aims to improve and update the knowledge and capabilities of its staff at all levels, to ensure that the services provided meet international standards. The Royal Hospital continues to conduct conferences and workshops to raise the academic and clinical levels of all who take care of the country’s national and non-national people.
A press conference organized by Royal Hospital Oman took place on 7th January 2015 at the Royal Hospital Auditorium, where RHO officials provided further insight into OIMC 2015. The press conference confirmed that the Oman International Medical Conference will be held at Al Bustan Palace Hotel on 6 – 8 February 2015.
Renowned doctors, nurses and pharmacists will attend this Conference from within the Sultanate and beyond the region. Numerous researchers, scientists and doctors will also participate in this event from North America and Europe and from the Sultanate. They will present and discuss the latest updates and researches, including what international organizations have agreed on, the treatment of various diseases in different specialties etc.
Over 400 medical professionals and experts are expected to attend the two day event which will feature renowned speakers and experts from both international and the GCC countries. Through this Conference discussions and updates will be addressed targeting various specialties like Respiratory, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Gastroentrology, Nephrology and Hematology. An exhibition held alongside the Conference will also give delegates an opportunity to meet leading solution providers and examine new products that are on offer in the market.
