Saudi Arabia to implement new health insurance law from May

Saudi Arabia’s Council of Health Insurance has said all private sector businesses are required to provide their Saudi and non-Saudi employees and their families with health insurance from next month, Saudi Gazette has reported. The new regulations will be applicable to all employees regardless of their monthly salary, as long as there is an employment contract signed between the concerned parties, the council said.
