Iran petrochemical production to reach 1m tons

Deputy Head of Iran’s state-controlled National Petrochemical Company announced that new projects will increase the Iran’s petrochemical production to reach one million tons in the early months of the next Iranian year (starting March 21, 2015), Zawya has reported. Mohammad Hassan Peyvandi confirmed that the petrochemical complex in Lorestan province will start production by the end of the current year and those of Mahabad and Kurdestan will be ready to go on stream at the start of next year.
