Peter Willats, an international Lean Management expert was in Oman recently to conduct a seminar on lean management organized by Advertising International DDB (ADINC DDB). Willats visited Reem Batteries and Power Appliances Co, the main presenter of the seminar, and among the few companies in the country to have actively adopted Lean manufacturing systems at their automotive battery manufacturing plant in Rusayl.
Peter Willats shares his experience: “On my visit to Reem Batteries, I was struck by the long-term, concerted management effort to improve processes and production through the adoption of Lean.
