Tawazun – the strategic investment firm focused on the long-term development of UAE’s industrial manufacturing with a specific focus on the defense sector – is getting ready to showcase the innovative products and solutions by its group companies at IWA OutdoorClassics, the world’s leading exhibition for high-quality guns and outdoor products. IWA OutdoorClassics 2014 is being held in the German city of Nuremberg on 7 to 10 March.
Tawazun stand at IWA Outdoor Classics will feature sections for different group companies including Caracal International, Merkel and caracal Light Ammunitions.
Chief Executive Officer H.E. Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, said “We are pleased to be part of IWA OutdoorClassics 2014. This exhibition will provide an excellent platform for us to promote our local defense manufacturing capabilities within the international stage”.

Visitors of the IWA OutdoorClassics 2014 will have glimpses of the recent products of merkel’s guns; the latest model is the Helix TRACKER, which is specially developed for tracking game and hunting on driven hunt. Moreover, Merkel will also display the three new shot gun models, classified under MERKEL CLASSIC and developed with the famous British Journalist and shooting instructor Michael Yardley.
IWA OutdoorClassics, the national product show for the retail gun trade and gunsmiths opened its doors in Nuremberg for the first time in 1973 with just under 100 exhibitors. Over the last 40 years IWA OutdoorClassics has developed into the most important international product show for hunting guns, shooting sports, outdoor equipment and equipment for official agencies, especially for law enforcement and personal security.
Almost two-thirds of the 38,265 trade visitors in 2013 came to Nuremberg from countries outside Germany and more than 75% of the altogether 1,209 exhibitors too. IWA OutdoorClassics offers an unparalleled international spectrum of products.
