Wild Wadi Waterpark, one of the most popular amusement parks in the region and part of Jumeirah Group, collected more than 15,000 items of clothing during the Ramadan charity campaign.

Throughout the month, residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were encouraged to donate three items of clothing every Monday in exchange for free entry into the waterpark.

All donated items were given to the Beit Al Kheir Society, a non-profit organisation that supports underprivileged families in the UAE.

A total of 5,256 guests participated in the campaign, 15 containers were filled and a total of four trucks were required to collect the clothes.

Chris Perry, General Manager, Wild Wadi Waterpark, said, “We’ve been overwhelmed with the support we received from the community for the initial launch of the campaign and we’re looking forward to making this an annual campaign.”
